WorldSBK Australian Round: Unfiltered

WorldSBK is back! Phillip Island put on the show we wanted to see. The 2025 season has kicked off and the very first weekend showed that there will be no shortage of excitement this year. Tough battles, edge-of-your-seat overtaking and a fantastic spectacle that left fans breathless.
Ondřej Vostatek was wearing Czech colours on the track, scoring points in the Supersport category in the first heat, where he finished thirteenth. He did even better in the second race - tenth place and confirmation that this year his rivals must count on him.
Last year's champion Toprak Razgatlıoğlu did not disappoint, but he did not shine either. He took a solid second place in the first heat, but the second heat didn't go his way and he didn't see the finish. So hopefully he'll find his rhythm again soon.
But the weekend was uncompromisingly dominated by Ducati. Nicolò Bulega scored a hat-trick of wins and takes maximum points from Australia. His teammate Álvaro Bautista may not have celebrated victory, but second place overall after the first weekend shows that the red machine is back in form.
What next? WorldSBK is heading to Europe and will return to Autodrom Most in May! The Czech stop promises exciting racing, an open paddock and an atmosphere you won't get anywhere else.
On 16-18 May, Most will be transformed into a superbike arena - you can't miss it!
