WorldSBK returns to Most! What can fans look forward to this year?
In less than a month's time, the drivers of the World Superbike Championship (WorldSBK) will be competing at the Autodrom Most. The fifth stop of this year's edition of the championship of the fastest production bikes in the world will take place in Most from 16 to 18 May 2025 and will offer fans a unique experience not only thanks to exciting races, but also an exclusive fan programme.
WorldSBK will be held in Most for the fifth time and has become a traditional highlight of the domestic motor racing season. Last year's event saw record attendance - 58,474 spectators watched the races over the weekend, an increase of almost 10% compared to 2023. The Most event thus became the second most attended event of the entire championship, just behind Cremona in Italy. WorldSBK is watched by an average of 115 million TV viewers worldwide (source: Nielsen Company), making it one of the most watched sporting events in the Czech Republic.
What's good to know before you go to visit the WorldSBK
This year, the championship will come to Most from Cremona, Italy, and compared to previous years, the date has been moved to mid-May. The organisers have prepared several major innovations for the fans. Newly, each ticket includes access to the paddock, which will bring visitors even closer contact with the racing action. Another important new feature is free entry for under-15s - motorsport is an experience that should unite generations.
Rich accompanying programme for fans
WorldSBK in Most is not just about the races themselves. On Thursday 15 May, visitors will be able to run or walk the race track for free and meet the drivers during the evening track walk. On Friday, official training sessions will get underway and a unique Ride Like a Pro experience will take place, where those interested will be able to try out riding on the Most circuit under the guidance of experienced instructor and racer Kamil Holán.
The main races of the WorldSBK, WorldSSP and WorldSSP300 classes will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Fans can expect a total of three races in the WorldSBK Royal Class: Saturday's Race 1, Sunday's sprint Tissot Superpole Race and the final Race 2. On Saturday, after the programme, there will be an unusual meeting with the riders on the finishing straight, where fans will be able to see the motorcycles and walk the entire finishing straight where the racing was fierce just a few minutes ago.
Sunday's programme will conclude with a spectacular Bike Parade - a spectacular ride around the circuit for fans who arrive on their own motorcycles.
Interactive experiences for visitors
What sets WorldSBK apart from other championships is its interactivity and proximity to the fans. A paddock show with live commentary, rider interviews and autograph sessions will take place throughout the weekend. Fans will get to go behind the scenes of the championship and see first-hand the action in the parc fermé, the podium show or the special Action Box - an open pit area with a large screen and a direct view into the pit lane. No fan should miss the Victory lane - the champions ride directly between the spectators under the podium.
The accompanying programme will also include other attractive shows: a flyover of fighter jets from Aero Vodochody, a stuntriding show by Martin Krátký, the Czech national anthem performed by a choir at the start and spectators can look forward to a brand new sound system in the spectator slope where several large screens will be prepared for more comfortable viewing of the race. Also new is a new parking fee collection system that will ensure faster and more convenient check-in for visitors.
WorldSBK in Most promises a unique spectacle and an unforgettable experience for all motorsport fans. Tickets are on sale now - don't miss one of the biggest sporting events in the Czech Republic!
