Ready for World Superbike

AUTODROM MOST has made various alterations over the past two years, as a result of which it ranks among the world's top racing circuits. The most essential new features include, in particular, updating the control tower and a new restaurant in addition to a new track surface, run-off areas and camera system.

Since the turn of the year, AUTODROM MOST has got a new track surface, enlarged run-off zones, a new surface water drainage, and some more technical updates. The year 2022 has brought investment in improving the support facilities with a view to further increase safety and comfort for racing drivers and riders and the whole teams, and last but not least, for the public.

A brand-new feature is reconstruction of the control tower this year. The project focussed on the control room and the entire lower floor, which houses the race control. The enlarged control room now meets the requirements for organising world championship events, which also applies to a new camera system. The track is now monitored by 27 4K-cameras. A world-unique innovation so far is a mobile camera that can be installed anywhere around the circuit within five minutes. This can be useful not only in the event that any of the static cameras fails, but above all, at high-profile places during especially important races. All cameras are 360-degree cameras and are equipped with a wiper in case it rains. The recordings are saved in the Autodrom Most data warehouse for a period of 14 days.

Not only from the visitors’ point of view, this year’s most significant novelties include a new modern restaurant, situated close to the control tower. Apart from gastronomic experiences, the restaurant offers a unique atmosphere directly overlooking the racing circuit from a roomy and bright interior or from a viewing area terrace with an open bar on the roof of the restaurant, representing an ideal place for watching the Superbike World Championship.

The sixth round of the 2022 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship will be hosted by AUTODROM MOST from 29th to 31stJuly. The fans can look forward to battles fought by top riders including Czech representatives. Besides the regular participants, Oliver König and Ondřej Vostatek, we will be able to watch five more Czech riders, who will test themselves against the world's top contestants as wild-card entries.

Under its official name of Prosecco DOC Czech Round, the last weekend in July at Most will also offer WorldSSP and WorldSSP300 classes, the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup, and the Northern Talent Cup races, apart from the WorldSBKseries itself, entered by the fastest Ducati, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda, and BMW road motorcycles.

In addition to the races themselves, the fans can look forward to several side events such as a stunt show and a paddock show on the Spectator Hill to name just a few. Moreover, giant screens will be available for the spectators to be able to watch the actions on the track comfortably.

What is more, AUTODROM MOST provides the visitors with access to the paddock and a popular pit lane walk combined with a rider autograph session included in the ticket price. It is also pleasing that the whole event will be run free from any COVID-19 restrictions, and children under 18 are given free entrance.
