Nearly 54,000 Fans Attended WorldSBK in Most

The WorldSBK Czech Round 2026 at Autodrom Most concluded on Sunday after a race weekend that once again confirmed the exceptional position of the Czech event within the FIM Superbike World Championship calendar. Over the course of three days, 53,952 fans attended the event in Most – only slightly fewer than last year, when attendance surpassed 55,000 spectators. For the organizers, this is a very positive result confirming the stable interest of both Czech and international fans.

“Nearly 54,000 spectators is great news for us. After last year’s exceptionally strong edition, we wanted to confirm that WorldSBK has a firm place in Most and that fans continue to return to Autodrom Most regularly. The difference compared to last year is minimal and, from our perspective, this is clearly a very positive result. We would like to thank the fans and all our partners, especially the National Sports Agency and the Ústí nad Labem Region. The atmosphere throughout the weekend was fantastic and it once again showed that WorldSBK in Most is one of the highlights of the Czech motorsport season,” said Josef Zajíček, CEO of Autodrom Most and member of the organizing association AMK Most.

The strong position of the Czech Round was also praised by the championship promoter. “The Czech Round at Autodrom Most once again confirmed its place among the key events on the WorldSBK calendar. The atmosphere throughout the weekend reflected the strong connection between the championship and Czech fans, while the continued commitment of Autodrom Most ensures the event continues to grow year after year. On track, we also witnessed another important chapter in WorldSBK history as Nicolò Bulega extended his remarkable winning streak to 19 consecutive victories. We would like to thank the circuit and all the fans for their support, which made the Czech Round 2026 another successful event,” said Gregorio Lavilla, WorldSBK Executive Director.

Bulega Unstoppable in Most. Ducati Dominated the Weekend

The premier WorldSBK category had a clear ruler in Most. Nicolò Bulega of the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team won Saturday’s Race 1, Sunday’s Tissot Superpole Race, and the second main race. In all three races, Ducati’s factory success was completed by second place for his teammate Iker Lecuona, while Yari Montella from the Barni Spark Racing Team finished third each time.

In Sunday’s Superpole Race, Bulega also set a lap time of 1:29.920, breaking the existing WorldSBK race lap record at Autodrom Most. Although Lecuona managed to stay close until the finish in the afternoon’s second race, losing only 0.594 seconds, Bulega once again confirmed his exceptional form.

Behind the leading duo, young Alberto Surra also impressed. The WorldSBK rookie showed very strong pace in Most, finishing fifth in the Superpole Race and sixth in Race 2 after several exciting battles, including with Garrett Gerloff.

Debise and ZXMOTO Write a Great WorldSSP Story

In the WorldSSP category, the main figure of the weekend was Valentin Debise. The French rider from the EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory team won both races in Most, securing his fourth and fifth victories of the season. On Saturday, he defeated Can Öncü and championship leader Albert Arenas, while on Sunday he won by an incredibly narrow margin of just 0.056 seconds ahead of Öncü. Oli Bayliss finished third in Sunday’s race.

Debise significantly reduced Arenas’ lead in the championship standings. After the Most weekend, Arenas has 166 points, while Debise moved into second place with 147 points. The success of the French rider is also an important milestone for the ZXMOTO brand, which is still considered one of the newer projects in the championship but demonstrated in Most that it can fight for top positions.

The Czech representation in WorldSSP came from riders of the Compos Racing Team. Ondřej Vostatek scored points with 14th place in Saturday’s race, while after a crash on Sunday he finished 28th. Oliver König achieved his best result of the season on Sunday with 18th place, narrowly missing out on points.

World Sportbike Delivered Battles Until the Finish

The new WorldSPB / World Sportbike category, which replaced the former WorldSSP300 class, delivered exactly what fans expect from an entry-level championship category: close racing, minimal gaps, and dramatic finishes.

Saturday’s opening race was won by Matteo Vannucci ahead of Jeffrey Buis and David Salvador. On Sunday, Antonio Torres from Team ProDina Kawasaki XCI claimed victory after defeating Bruno Ieraci by just 0.126 seconds. David Salvador once again finished third and, thanks to two podium finishes in Most, continues to lead the championship standings despite still waiting for his first victory of the season.

Czech rider Troy Sovička from the Panattoni BGR Smrz Racing team showed promising pace in Sunday’s race, but after crashing in the closing stages he was forced to retire. Officially, he was classified as a rider who did not finish after completing nine laps.

Most Has a Strong Future in WorldSBK

WorldSBK Czech Round 2026 concluded a weekend that combined strong attendance, high sporting quality, Czech riders on the grid, and confirmation of Autodrom Most’s long-term position within the world championship calendar.

Autodrom Most has a contract with championship promoter Dorna running until 2030, meaning fans can look forward to at least four more editions of WorldSBK in Most.
