Autodrom Most 2025: A New Date for the WorldSBK

The Autodrom Most has prepared a number of novelties for the 2025 season, the most essential of which is an entirely new date for the race of the season – the WorldSBK, which has been rescheduled from July to mid-May opening a busy motorcycle racing calendar in the Czech Republic.

WorldSBK 2025: A new date and more attractive conditions for the fans

The biggest event of the Most season, the FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK), attended by almost 60,000 spectators this year, has been rescheduled to May 16–18, 2025. “We wanted to accommodate our fans, who can expect a frenetic schedule in the month of July infused with motorcycle events not only in the Czech Republic. We have also chosen the May date considering the traditional home meetings, and believe that it will be an excellent start to the season,” says Josef Zajíček, the Autodrom Most Chief Executive Officer and a member of the organising club, AMK Most.

The Autodrom Most has also prepared another pleasant change for the WorldSBK fans: uniform combined tickets for all spectators authorising the holders to reach as far as the asphalt. No more distinguishing between the Spectator Hill and paddock! The WorldSBK championship is well-known for activities such as Victory Lane or Paddock Show, among others, which make it possible for the fans to become an integral part of the race weekend. “The purpose is to offer an authentic WorldSBK experience to all without exception. The fans will reach as far as the asphalt, which is the farthest point you can go,” Josef Zajíček describes experiences you can find nowhere else. Moreover, the fans will surely appreciate reduction of a one-day ticket from 1,500 crowns last year to 1,100 crowns this year (advance ticket) while children under 15 are admitted free.

There are also novelties as regards the race weekend schedule. For Thursday, 15th May, when a traditional track walk takes place, during which the riders walk the track personally, the Autodrom has prepared a special event – run along the track for the public, where the participants will be able to take a close look at the track and the paddock. There is no entrance fee for this event.

There are more novelties waiting for the visitors during the race weekend. On Saturday, the Autodrom will open the track to the spectators with a part of the side events programme including the riders taking place right on the track. On Sunday, the motorcycle enthusiasts can join the Bike Parade – a collective joyride around the circuit.

Innovations and investment for the 2025 season

Even before the start to the season, the Autodrom Most will invest 25 million crowns into the whole complex with the aim of further improving the visitors’ experience and enhance safety on the circuit. The key projects include the following:

  • Complete Spectator Hill sound distribution so that the visitors may get enough information about what is going on during the races.
  • Road resurfacing in the most high-profile corners (T1, T2, T7 and T21) in order to maintain the top-quality of the surface even in the most stressed sections.
  • New safety barriers between the bends T8 and T12, which will make it possible for the journalists to safely access the areas closed so far.
  • Installation of a new generation of LED panels including a trackside board giving the riders indication on a real-time basis.
  • Modernization of a camera system software to be used by the stewards of the meeting using playback.
  • Modernization of the parking fee payment system for the sake of a quicker and more comfortable handling.
  • Limit on the opening hours at 6 p.m., which means a loss of 15 million crowns for the Autodrom.
